Delivery Policy – Kabayan Value Mart (New Zealand)

1. Introduction
At Kabayan Value Mart, we are committed to ensuring that your orders are delivered in a timely, secure, and reliable manner across New Zealand. Our delivery policy outlines our procedures, terms, and conditions associated with the shipping and delivery of products purchased from our online platform or physical store. This policy is designed to set clear expectations and provide transparency around our delivery processes to enhance customer satisfaction.

2. Delivery Areas
We deliver to all major cities and towns throughout New Zealand. For rural or remote addresses, delivery may take longer or may require special arrangements. If we are unable to deliver to a specific address, we will notify the customer at the earliest opportunity and provide alternate options.

3. Delivery Methods and Timeframes
Kabayan Value Mart works with reliable courier services and logistic partners to ensure your order reaches you safely. Delivery times are dependent on your location and the availability of the product. Estimated time frames are:

  • Urban Areas: 1-2 business days
  • Rural/Remote Areas: 2-3 business days

Please note that all timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to public holidays, extreme weather, or unforeseen courier delays.

4. Delivery Charges
Delivery fees will be calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. In some cases, promotions or offers may include free delivery. Large or bulky orders may incur additional fees. These will be clearly outlined during the checkout process before you confirm your order.

Orders with 3kg and below:

Flat Rate: $9.99

Rural Delivery Surcharge: +$4.99

***We may request an extra fee for a large/bulk order or above 3kg.

***Currently, if you would like to order frozen products or fresh eggs, we recommend that you collect it in our store. We may post some frozen products, but we will not be liable if the products get spoiled or not fresh during delivery.

5. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS. You can use this number to track your order directly on the courier’s website. If you do not receive tracking details within the estimated dispatch window, please contact our customer service team.

6. Delivery Times and Receiving Orders
Our deliveries are usually made between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays). It is important that someone is available to receive the order at the nominated address. If no one is home, the courier may leave a card with instructions for re-delivery or collection.

If you prefer contactless delivery, you can leave a delivery note at checkout or notify our team. While we aim to meet your preferences, contactless delivery is at the discretion of the courier and the delivery area.

7. Delays and Non-Delivery
While we strive to deliver within the expected timeframes, delays may occasionally occur. These may be due to inventory shortages, courier network disruptions, weather conditions, or incorrect delivery details provided at checkout. In the event of a significant delay, we will notify you and keep you informed of progress. Kabayan Value Mart shall not be held liable for delays outside our control.

8. Risk and Responsibility
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. Please ensure your delivery details are correct and that someone is available to accept the package. Kabayan Value Mart is not responsible for lost or stolen packages after they have been delivered, nor for any delays due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

9. Damaged or Missing Items
If any items arrive damaged or missing, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include photographs of the packaging and the damaged goods where applicable. Our team will investigate and, where appropriate, replace the items or provide a refund in accordance with our refund policy.

10. Changes to Delivery Details
If you need to change your delivery address after placing an order, please notify us immediately. Address changes are only possible if the order has not yet been dispatched. Once dispatched, changes to delivery details are at the discretion of the courier service.

11. International Shipping
Currently, Kabayan Value Mart only delivers within New Zealand. We do not offer international shipping at this time. Any changes to this policy will be communicated via our website and customer service channels.

12. Click & Collect Option
We offer a convenient Click & Collect service for customers who prefer to pick up their orders directly from our store. You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup. Please bring your order confirmation and a valid photo ID for verification.

13. Delivery During Sales or Peak Periods
During sales events, holiday seasons, or promotional periods, delivery times may be extended due to increased order volumes. We encourage customers to place their orders early during these times to avoid delays.
